What were all the dead animals in the field about? What about Nic's secret work project? How did the necklace get in the car, was Charlie planning on confronting his wife about it? Why would Sarah be so careless to just leave it there?

I guess in a real investigation you don't get to know everything about all the suspects...

The box was leaning into Robyn so hard I thought maybe it was too obvious and a red herring. We kinda found this box to be easy and wanted more completed story arcs for everyone else to prove our theories. Still enjoyed the experience and we're getting The Moon Summit next!

Your correct in a real investigation you don't always find out what happened to everyone after the fact.
However the DOB was not a typo the sheriff just did shoddy work. There was aknowledgement regarding Susan being Sean by the hormone prescriptions he was taking for gender reassignment. If you're referring to the dead animals on the opposite side of the newspaper article it was unrelated, there are always 2 sides on a newspaper. Drives me crazy 🤯.

I feel strongly that the deliver driver should have been intervied. To conferm the recipient of the food and also to see if they noticed anything when they drove past the crime scene ether way.

Good point! Just trying to remember if the crime scene was between the food place the delivery was ordered from and the residence.

I have to admit, I thought Neeta had framed Robyn because the handwriting on the car vandalism looked much more like Neeta's than Robyn's.  Also, since Robyn used that song lyric in her graduation quote, everyone knew she had a connection to it so it would be easy to make people assume she was the one behind all of the stalking.  Additionally, I thought Neeta had a much better motive since Sarah was feeling sentimental about taking Charlie from Maggie.  That aside, I think the whole emailing Michelle thing was brilliant on the part of the writers of this game!

It was a pretty cool addition emailing Michelle!

The most clever part of this was the Newspaper articles.  And, for a bonus, the reverse of the articles also had some relevance to what was going on.  The Pharmacy shut down because of the lawsuit, there was an article about the horse in one of them.  All kind of relevant.  The only part I thought was a bit over-the-top was the cypher that you had to crack on that department memo that needed the magnifying glass.  Just seemed like a long way to go for very little information.  The same could have been accomplished through a letter of reprimand or something, that he maybe left at his mother's place?  Otherwise, very well done.

The killer was obvious from episode 5, after eliminating the other suspects, though, since the map made it impossible for one of the suspects to have committed the crime.  Was hoping there was some evidence in episode 6 to maybe have changed that, but it just made it more obvious...

I was disappointed by the ending. I feel like Neeta had way better motive. She wanted Charlie out of the picture and Sarah didn't want to take Maggie from Charlie. Sarah told Neeta in the texts "take some time to cool off." Clearly Neeta was more than a little upset about it.

As for Robyn, I would have liked something more. The vandalism was ten years ago. And so what if she bought his ring after he sold it? And so what if her love letters were close to obsession? She was a high school girl in love with her high school sweetheart. It seemed like she was being framed at the end with the car vandalism. Everyone knew she was connected to Jewel. I would have liked a piece of evidence that connected Charlie with Robyn present day (as in around the time of the murder).

Also I didn't buy that we should have believed Sarah when she said "oh yeah, Neeta did stop by." We never really got confirmation that Neeta stopped by. It would have been nice to have a photo from the surveillance camera of Sarah and Charlie's residence. Because why would we believe anything that Sarah has to say? She was being dishonest and hiding stuff - dishonesty can completely crush someone's innocence in a court of law. So I didn't think that we should have believed her.

Also if Charlie was drugged and that allowed Robyn to have the means to kill him, then Neeta would have had the means. If he wasn't fighting Robyn because he was drugged, he probably wouldn't have fought Neeta either. Just because Robyn works on a farm. So what if she can lift more than Neeta?

TLDR: I am disappointed. I think Neeta's motive was stronger. Nervous about getting another season because of the way this one played out.

That is EXACTLY what I thought too! The way Robyn was made to look guilty the entire time made me think frame job.

If you want to message me directly, I can give you my thoughts so far on the next case.

I LOVED this case! Class of ‘98 was the best one ever! I like cases with real people instead of psychos with hundreds of red herrings (Initiation). I hope our next case is similar. Thanks, Hunt-A-Killer fore keeping me entertained!
